In todays digital era, no one wants to settle for second best, whether it is in computers, mobile phones or even cameras. Digital cameras have revolutionized the way we take pictures. They provide better image quality, faster photography and a great technological advantage.
These new age cameras are offered by some of the best brands in the market today.Panasonic is one of the trusted brands among digicams.
If you\’re doing short-range zoom or you have a fixed lens, then it\’s OK, but at different focal lengths it can be much more difficult. The SLR is better because the viewing and taking lens are the same. While entry level digital SLR cameras don\’t always have Live View, advanced models usually do, and they let you compose the photos just like you do with a snapshot camera.
The custom controls are located on the back providing ease in adjustments without make it hard to handle or button depression miscues. The top is adorned by the usual three buttons; the power on/off, the shutter release and the Sony Smile Shutter providing the ability to instantly activate the see a smile take the shot feature.
Another new addition is the provision of checks and balances that if a user selected setting do not match another setting it will not let you select that setting; one handy feature for those new to the Sony line or digital camera photography for that matter to help provide the best image outcomes.
The Panasonic DMC ZS3 offers an 11 point multi area autofocus that gives the user an option to choose from 6 different picture modes, including Face Recognition and Face Detection. With 28 scene modes, and using only Program, Intelligent and Auto instead of manual or semi automatic modes, this camera is certainly one to die for!
Digital SLR With Fixed Lens On these digital SLR\’s, the versatility is limited by the fact that you can\’t change the default lens. The mirror that bounces the light towards the viewfinder is nonmoving and semi-transparent in most of these models. One example of a camera with fixed lens is the Olympus E-20N-Camera similar to SLR\’s
Cameras that look like digital SLR cameras are usually digicams that have either an optical finder or a small LCD. You can\’t consider them as digital SLR cameras since the mirror is missing, and the quality of the photos isn\’t even close to what you can do with a true SLR. Usually, this type of camera has a very long zoom, and another name for them is magazooms or ZLRs.
